She was born in Athens, on Aug. 21, 1968. She was preceded in death by her father, James Thomas Jones.Jennie leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter; her mother, Barbara Lunsford Jones; four brothers, James Junior and Shirley Jones, William "Bill" Jones, Ricky Jones, and Wayne and Joni Jones; two sisters, Mary Jones and Joyce Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, April 7, at 7 p.m., at Planted in Christ Ministries, located at 317 Maple Street in Athens.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until the 7 p.m. service time at the church.Share a memory of Jennie and/or your personal condolences with her family by visiting her memorial web page and guest book at www.companionfunerals.comCompanion Funeral Home of Athens is honored to assist Jennie's family with these arrangements.
